Dr. Amani Ahmad Hajj Hasan, Vice President, Academic Affairs
Dr. Amani Ahmad Hajji Hasan holds a Doctoral of Business Administration from Swiss Business School (SBS). She also holds a Master of Business Administration (with distinction) from Kuwait Maastricht Business School (KMBS) and a second Master of Applied Business Research from Swiss Business School (SBS) in addition to having a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Liverpool John Moores University, UK. Amani is a Certified Trainer in Human Development and is a member in the Kuwaiti Pharmaceutical Society. She is an entrepreneur, owning two successful businesses in the local market. Mr. Ahmad Jaber
With extensive experience in teaching at both university and college levels, Mr. Ahmad Jaber is a highly respected faculty member in the School of Advanced Technology. Holding a Master of Computer Science degree, Mr. Jaber is known for his deep expertise in the field and his dedication to academic excellence. He has consistently contributed to the advancement of technology through his research, published in the prestigious such as IEEE, reflecting his commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation. As Chair of the School of Advanced Technology, Mr. Jaber plays an essential role in shaping the institution’s academic landscape. His responsibilities extend beyond teaching, as he is deeply involved in curriculum development, creating an environment that prepares students for the evolving demands of the tech industry. His engaging instructional methods, combined with a focus on real-world experience, inspire students to excel academically and professionally. In addition to his academic achievements, Mr. Jaber is a mentor who dedicates significant time to guiding students and faculty members. Dr. Sheena Ray Varghese
With over 15 years of teaching experience in various universities and colleges in Kuwait, Dr. Sheena Ray Varghese has established a reputation as an inspiring educator and a strong advocate for student success. She holds a Doctoral degree in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management, Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Before embarking on her teaching career, Dr. Sheena gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry in Abu Dhabi, an experience that enriches her educational approach. She has taught a diverse range of subjects in the Faculty of Business, provided mentorship and training to numerous colleagues, participated and led various academic committees and initiated various student-centred clubs. She has published papers in banking, marketing, entrepreneurship and education. She aims to continue to make a significant impact in the field of education and contribute to society through her research and community service initiatives. |
School of Foundation Academic Chair
Dr. Reem AlQenai
Dr. Reem AlQenai is the Head of the Foundation School at the Canadian College of Kuwait and an accomplished Assistant Professor of English Language. Holding a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics, she also serves as the President of TESOL Kuwait, working in collaboration with TESOL International, where she is a reviewer for their quarterly journal. A CELTA-certified educator with over 13 years of experience, Dr. AlQenai has taught and held leadership roles in various universities across Kuwait. Her research interests span second language acquisition, ePortfolios, language assessment, educational technology, and curriculum development. |
